SurfKitchen selects Interxion’s Secure Date Service

London, April 4, 2007  - Interxion, the leading provider of premium, carrier-neutral data centre and managed services in Europe, today announced that it has been selected to supply a managed online backup and restore solution, Secure Data Service, to SurfKitchen, a leading provider of On Device Portal Software for the mobile operator market. Secure Data Service guarantees SurfKitchen a high level of security, efficiency and availability of data across its locations.

SurfKitchen has chosen Secure Data Service (SDS) to create fast, successful data backups and to ensure that data is instantly available when needed. Backups are carried out in real-time over the Internet with 128-bit encryption to a highly secure vault at Interxion's data centre.  This guarantees complete security of the SurfKitchen data and applications.

"The SurfKitchen On Device Portal for mobile phone users is the foundation of our business. A huge amount of R&D went into the product and the resulting application and data are priceless. It is mission critical. In fact it is ‘the crown jewel' of the company. Any loss of data could have very serious consequences for our operations," said Richard Oliver, CFO of SurfKitchen.

"We wanted to ensure all our locations benefited the same level of data security and availability. The SDS online backup service from Interxion is the best in class backup solution that is reliable and simple to use, allowing our employees to concentrate on the business," continued Richard Oliver.

"Data security and availability is a vital component for success.  By choosing Secure Data Service from Interxion, SurfKitchen has selected a long-term partner. We will support them as they grow, providing them peace of mind that their data is always available, leaving them to focus on their growing business," Said Anthony Foy, Group Managing Director of Interxion.
