Adding Secure Data Service to your portfolio of services will allow you to offer market leading technology to your customers to protect all their mission critical information whether the data is on laptops, desktops or servers. You can start offering SDS to your customers within days without up-front capital investments. This creates a low risk opportunity for entering the backup and restore services market that is experiencing accelerated growth.

SDS, is the industry�s first and only agentless backup and restore software that features complete utility provisioning, charge back and accountability capabilities. As data moves from distributed sites throughout the customer�s facilities to a centralised location at an Interxion facility, the amount of protected data is automatically tracked and can be easily billed on a �per usage� basis. SDS utility service provisioning model allows for each remote location to be charged individually, eliminates inefficiencies of backing up duplicate data, and lowers customer cost while building you a new revenue stream.

Partner to access flexible packages
Interxion offers two flexible reseller packages that cater for most reseller and customer needs. This allows you decide on what level of your own involvement in the customer/end-user service management is desirable.

Resellers
Interxion provides services to the resellers, including infrastructure (Vault), backup and restore software, technical and commercial support and SLA. A reseller resells the service onto their customers/end-users or can package it with other services. Reseller's customers/end-users are responsible for configuration, management and scheduling of backups and restores whilst the reseller is responsible for fulfillment of support related aspects of the agreed SLA.

Value Added Reseller (VAR)
A VAR receives the same level of service from Interxion as a reseller as described above, but will be responsible for configuration, management and scheduling of backups and restores for their customers/end-users. Interxion provides necessary support and training to the VAR to do that.
