Interxion Becomes a Contributor Member of The Green Grid
AMSTERDAM - 3rd April , 2008 - Interxion, one of Europe’s leading providers of network-neutral data centre services, today announced that the company has become a Contributor Member of The Green Grid, a global nonprofit consortium of companies dedicated to advancing energy efficiency in data centres and business computing ecosystems. Alongside other members such as Microsoft, IBM, and Cisco, Interxion will use its membership to pursue a strategy of maximizing energy-efficient design and processes in data centres.

The Green Grid seeks to provide industry-wide recommendations on best practices, metrics and technologies that will improve overall data center and business computing energy efficiencies. By joining The Green Grid, Interxion is helping to determine and develop energy efficiency standards for developers and end users of data center facilities and technology.
