Interxion Appoints Jo Mariens as Belgian MD
BRUSSELS, February 7, 2008 - Interxion, a leading European provider of network-neutral data centre services, has appointed Jo Mariens as Managing Director of its Belgian operation. Prior to joining Interxion, Jo was Managing Director of UPC Belgium for eight years, and before that he was Chief Financial Officer and latterly Managing Director of Filmnet. He holds a Masters degree from Leuven University and an MBA from Insead.
Jo will manage the continued growth of the Belgian operation, including the expansion of the company’s data centre in the Zaventem area of Brussels in line with Interxion’s ambitious pan-European expansion plans.
