Interxion London offers access to the Datahop 10 Gigabit/second fibre ring
London, October 10, 2006 … Interxion, the leading provider of premium carrier-neutral data centre and managed services in Europe, today announced that Interxion London customers have now access to an ultra high-speed fibre-optic ring built and operated by Datahop Ltd. The ring will be used to provide high bandwidth IP transit and interlink services.
Datahop's 10 Gigabit/second ring network in London creates an ultra high-speed link offering direct 'Layer 2 connectivity' to the three Tier-1 carriers’ networks of Telia, Tiscali and NTT. Interxion’s customers will benefit from high availability, speed and cost efficiency of the connectivity, including multihoming solutions. Fixed pricing is designed to save businesses the time and inconvenience required to negotiate connectivity agreements with multiple suppliers.
