Interxion starts Partner Programme
AMSTERDAM -- Interxion, one of Europe’s leading providers of carrier-neutral data centres and managed services, is making its disaster recovery solutions available through partners - service providers, system integrators and ICT companies. Resellers will benefit from a competitive package offered by Interxion, including its backup and restore solution, Secure Data Service (SDS), as well as strong commercial and technical support - without the need for up-front investment in hardware and software, or costly and lengthy product development.
To address new market demands to meet business continuity planning, Interxion has developed a range of value added services that naturally complement the company’s existing portfolio, allowing both Interxion and resellers to address the needs of the end user - including those customers that are not physically located in one of Interxion’s 20 data centres across Europe. The new focus creates an opportunity for Interxion and its partners to further boost sales through the data backup and restore services, which can now be offered to a much broader range of potential users, ranging from large corporates, to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and remote workers.
Partners will retain full control over customer relations as they manage commercial contracts, customer set up, first line customer care support and billing.
“By strengthening partner relationships, Interxion will use the channel to continue pushing its message, calling for businesses to be aware of data backup and resilience measures required to comply with current legislation - dictating that firms of all sizes should ensure that business systems and processes are fully compliant with the appropriate regulatory obligations,” said Anthony Foy, group MD, Interxion. “Bound by industry-leading Service Level Agreements, Interxion is focused on helping its channel partners offer managed services, which are monitored to ensure optimum quality of service. Interxion fully expects that after an initial period the channel will sell increasingly more compared to direct sales.”
To kick-start reseller activity, Interxion offers different support packages, including technical and sales training, free service trials, marketing and sales support, re-branding options, and end user documentation.
To support service operation Interxion will provide necessary technical infrastructure and its management, software licensing, individualised technical training, followed up by ongoing 24x7 technical support via Interxion’s European Service Centre (ESC). Reporting functionality is provided in the form of detailed monthly reports. Resellers are also equipped with technical manuals and comprehensive operational management tools.
