ShopeCentre: Total Performance Management by Interxion

Interxion, Europe’s leading operator of Internet Exchange Centers™ (IECs), has announced ShopeCentre as the latest customer to take advantage of its unique Total Performance Management (TPM) service. Dublin-based ShopeCentre is the ecommerce enabling company that produces and operates online shopping sites for businesses such as the Trafford Centre in Manchester and Ryanair.com – one of the largest online travel shops in the world.

Providing the means for high-street retailers, Internet businesses and ISPs to achieve an online ecommerce presence means that data transfer and Internet–based activities form the basis of ShopeCentre’s daily business. Being online permanently is therefore crucial. The TPM service from Interxion will provide ShopeCentre with comprehensive 24x365 monitoring to ensure the reliable operation of their business-critical systems. This is in addition to Interxion’s IEC levels of security, uninterrupted power supply guarantee and a full-service maintenance facility, provided by its team of highly skilled engineers.

By housing its business infrastructure and applications in Interxion’s Dublin IECä, ShopeCentre benefits from a tailor-made service level agreement (SLA) with virtually unlimited scalability. In addition, the TPM portal allows it to benefit from the highest level of technical expertise plus a centralized view into their system performance. With a TPM Support Operations Center also located in Dublin, a highly qualified team of systems analysts provide diagnostic and problem remediation services to augment Interxion’s current 24X365 operations capabilities according to each customer’s requirements.
