Michel Boussard new CEO of Interxion
Amsterdam, the Netherlands, May 2, 2001 - Interxion Holding NV has appointed Michel Boussard as Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Interxion´s founder Bart van den Dries, who has become Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The appointments come at a time that Interxion has established itself as the leading pan-European Internet infrastructure services company. Interxion currently operates 15 Internet Exchange Centers (IECs) in major European cities and offers an extensive and rapidly expanding value added services portfolio to its broad customer base.
Michel Boussard comes from IBM where he was Vice President Europe responsible for the Small and Mid Market business unit. He was Chairman of the Board of IBM Belgium/Luxembourg and a member of the board of IBM France.
Bart van den Dries founded Interxion in 1998. Under his personal leadership Interxion grew from 3 to 500+ employees and raised almost Euro 300 million in private equity.
